Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
Utilize hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun
Maintain inventory of product in work stations
Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Read and understand drawings
Solder wire to solder cup connectors
Install hardware as required by drawing.
Use and understand hand crimping tools
Crimping of ferrules, lugs, pins and other contacts
Cable testing using cable scan tester
Familiar with basic hand tools, wire strippers, cutters, pliers, hand crimpers, scissors, soldering iron, heat gun
Label assemblies in accordance with drawing specifications
Requirements
Speak and read English
Ability to use basic ruler and understand measurements
Previous cable assembly experience desired
Good soldering skills
Able to work with minimal supervision
Able to read schematics, blue prints and bills of materials
High School degree or work equivalent
RELATED EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years mechanical assembly experience may be required
Basic reading skills. Must be able to understand and follow instructions
