Issue purchase orders to support product development
Main point of contact for key suppliers throughout selection, ordering, receiving, and troubleshooting process
Maintain relationship with existing vendors and suppliers, and identify new suppliers as needed
Work with IQC/QA to ensure supplier compliance in addition to performing ongoing management of supplier relationships
Setup and maintain part inventory, including but not limited to storage, labeling, kitting, material handling, and inventory reporting
Work with management team to provide forecasts for parts usage, ensuring orders are placed in a timely manner to prevent impacts to manufacturing timelines and deliverables
Support NetSuite and Propel (setup and implementation
Create and update material prints as needed
Manage our BOM and inventory, performing regular cycle counts to ensure accurate part counts
Emphasize quality and utilize a risk-driven approach to ensure compliance to risk management policies and practices and ensure GMP
Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures that comply with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and any other applicable domestic
Other responsibilities to support Manufacturing Operations as required
Requirements
High school diploma required
10+ years work experience in medical device industry, with 3+ years of relevant work experience
Ability to lift 55 pounds
Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams
Solid understanding of supplier quality controls
Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills - able to appropriately prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure
Capable of reading and understanding part prints
Possess knowledge of supplier/part qualification process
A driven outlook and with a strong desire to succeed as an individual operations coordinator, as a team, and as a company
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with disposables/consumables
Experience with Propel Quality system
Experience with NetSuite ERP system
Experience supporting medical device and capital equipment BOMs
Experience in a start-up environment
Experience creating, setting up, and/or managing inventory systems
