Increase production yields of early production releases and pilot productions in a timely manner by debugging PCBs including digital and analog components and functional blocks, identify root cause and component related failures and provide guidelines of in-house PCB repairs.
Develop methodology to systematically test board functionality and identify component failures.
Write test reports and communicate with switch/ PC manufacturer. Provide failure statistics and recommend corrective actions and process improvements in the manufacturing process.
Provide solutions and training of high-level diagnostic issues to the diagnostic technicians.
Update and generate documentation as required.
Responsible for all aspects of the test including selection and maintenance of test equipment and test procedures.
Requirements
Years of diagnostic/debug experience: at least 2 years
Able to interpret & analyze PCBA schematics
Able to troubleshoot multilayer PCBA
Able to perform board level signal tracing & failure analysis (PCBA, Component level)
Hands-on experience in using diagnostic/debug equipment & tools including oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, multimeter, soldering iron, desoldering tools
Preferably with experience debugging a custom build machine
