Job Description

A Program Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, quality delivery of customer products throughout their lifecycle. They manage program schedules, interface with customers and internal teams, establish and maintain customer contracts, and monitor key performance metrics. The role also involves resolving conflicts, securing capacity, ensuring supply chain functionality, overseeing change management, and leading continuous process improvement. 

Responsibilities

 

·Cross-Functional Team Management:
Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality, to achieve program goals.
·Program Scheduling and Management:
Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed program schedules, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
·Customer Interface:
Manage communication with customers throughout the product lifecycle, addressing issues and ensuring satisfaction.
·Contract Management:
Establish and maintain customer contracts, ensuring all terms are adhered to.
·Key Performance Metric Monitoring:
Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure project progress and identify areas for improvement.
· Cost Management:
Develop competitive and profitable cost models for customer products.
·Issue Resolution:
Work with customers and internal teams to resolve conflicts and other product issues.
·Capacity Planning:
Secure necessary capacity and manpower to support product volume requirements.
·Supply Chain Management:
Oversee global supply chain functionality, resolving any internal or external disruptions.
·Change Management:
Oversee engineering change orders (ECOs) and manage the change management process.
·Continuous Improvement:
Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

 

 

Requirements

·Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
· Ability to function independently and multitask.
·Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
· Strong attention to detail. 


Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain is often required, with a Master's degree preferred.
·Experience in manufacturing, particularly contract manufacturing (JDM/ODM), is a plus.
·Experience with ERP system deployment and B2B deployment is also preferred.
