Requirements

• AA degree, or equivalent, in electronics. Excellent understanding of general  electronics.  Ability to read blueprints and schematics, use general purpose test equipment and perform hand soldering.  Strong PCBA troubleshooting skills with regards to speed in problem identification and resolution.   Good verbal and written communication skills internally and with customers. Good skill with basic arithmetic. Minimum of six years experience as a test technician.  Dependable, high  energy level and self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and quality work.  Basic PC skills in EXCEL and WORD.   Must pass an internal written test.
• Experience with HP 3070 would be a plus but the critical skill is ability to quickly and effectively read a schematic to trouble shoot a failed PCBA at the component level.  Troubleshooting experience using the debug functions of sophisticated testers is not the level of troubleshooting we need.  We need demonstrated skills using a Digital Volt Meter and schematic.  Experience in both analog and digital circuits.
