Job Description

The Shipping Lead/Driver is responsible for overseeing and packaging daily shipments of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) orders on-time and accurately as well as organizing overage of boards in the stockroom and responsible for driving and shipping finished circuit boards to the customer in a timely matter.

Responsibilities

  • Follow daily Shipment List to ensure that products are shipped on-time.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of DHL/ international shipments.
  • Prepare all completed PCB orders for shipment and create packing slips.
  • Create labels for shipments using FedEx or UPS shipping software.
  • Professionally respond to will-calls (customer pick-ups) in a timely manner.
  • Verify and match customer’s tool numbers to completed PCB orders.
  • Review and ensure that all customer requirements are met.
  • Inspect panels for warpage and calculate flatness of all PCB for quality purposes.
  • Handle all boards properly and with caution to avoid damages.
  • Locate stock boards as needed in a timely matter
  • Stay up to date with finished goods / stock management.
  • Be resourceful in coordinating with drivers and deliveries.
  • Responsible for driving finished circuit boards to customers
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, AA degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience in shipping for a PCB manufacturing company.
  • Must have a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize jobs for shipment.
  • Good mathematic aptitude and very detailed oriented.
  • Ability to type at least 35-40 wpm preferred.
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds maximum.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to stand/walk through the day.
  • Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
