The primary responsibility of this position will be to support all activities related to mechanical assembly throughout production. Operate equipment and tools as needed. Assist engineering in resolving mechanical issues. Perform quality assurance on product builds to ensure customer specifications are met. Follow verbal and written instructions and procedures. Assist in developing and implementing Continous Improvement Processes (CIP) and programs. Use knowledge and experience to create new ideas to improve manufacturing times, lower costs and improve equipment. A nice to have, but not essential, is working knowledge of industrial automation and motion control systems.
