The Paid Search Strategist drives and executes the search marketing strategy for their specific line of business. This position is responsible for program optimization to achieve target KPIs, reporting to the Senior Search Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
Manage paid search programs to maximize overall search returns and reduction of SEM expenses
Monitor overall Paid Search performance daily
Contribute to development of the overall global search strategy for the line of business and also align Paid Search efforts with SEO, Site Search and all other marketing disciplines into integrated global programs
Compile and prepare regular search marketing reports and analysis for the line of business
Responsible for launching/trafficking search campaigns and keyword expands, including tag generation for tracking purposes as needed and QA
Provide data analysis and insight to support the Global Search Marketing Managers in developing the Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Engage closely with all key stakeholders to drive best practices, recommendations, meetings, and reporting for all business units
Provide product feedback direct to Product Managers on internal Adobe Marketing Cloud tools for product enhancements and the product roadmap, especially Adobe Media Optimizer and Adobe Analytics
Provide input and feedback, for landing page design, multi-variate tests, ad copy and media plans
Manage budgets and pacing in the search engines/Adobe Media Optimizer
Support all launch activities related to keyword research, ad copy writing, and paid search media plans with budget recommendations and forecasts
Effectively develop and foster strong relationships with the search engine reps and utilize their resources
Stay current with all SEM industry trends and regularly inform the Search Team on emerging SEM technologies, opportunities and best practices
Identify new search media opportunities for the line of business
Assist in development and delivery of quarterly Media Plans
Assist with Search Engine/Adobe Media Optimizer configuration, reporting and automated bid algorithms
Requirements
*MUST HAVE*: 2+ years experience as Paid Search Marketing Strategist, managing enterprise-level SEM campaigns with proven results
A degree in a business / marketing related or analytical discipline
Deep, hands-on experience with Google Ad Words, Yahoo, and Bing)
Proven experience in executing sophisticated and successful search media plans and strategies
Past experience with Web Analytics, SEM and search optimization platforms (Adobe Media Optimizer and Analytics are a plus)
Strong analytical and logic skills
Understanding of how SEM integrates with other online and offline media campaigns
Understanding of SEO, Paid Display, Social, and Landing Page Testing
