You will be responsible for On-Time-Delivery of quality products, planning, process improvement, productivity improvement, analysis, skill training, and staffing, as well as other assigned duties
Responsibilities
Planning, scheduling and overseeing production processes and work flow
Cost estimating and cost management of production
Provide accurate time and labor reporting to management
Ensuring products are produced on time and are of good quality
Responsible for developing, recommending, and implementing operational strategies for lead-time, cost reduction, process improvement, on-time delivery and resource planning
Analyzing processes and proposing recommendations to streamline core processes, minimizing complexity, training and data duplication
Hire, train and evaluate staff
Provide business leadership and inspiration to the team to maintain high morale and a positive work environment
Ensuring a safe work environment
Strong working knowledge or ERP systems, and MS Office
Leadership, and team development
Strong communication skill
Requirements
5+ years production management experience, cable assembly experience a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree - Majoring in ME, EE or IE.
Skills:
Professional Knowledge: Planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. IPC 620A Workmanship Standards or equivalent. ISO Quality System standard, ISO 9001:2008, AS 9100 a plus.
