Senior-level analog/digital yield engineer. Responsible for the in-circuit test/debug of new switch/ PC hardware.
Responsibilities
Increase production yields of early production releases and pilot productions in a timely manner by debugging PCBs including digital and analog components and functional blocks, identify root cause and component related failures and provide guidelines of in-house PCB repairs.
Develop methodology to systematically test board functionality and identify component failures.
Write test reports and communicate with switch/ PC manufacturer. Provide failure statistics and recommend corrective actions and process improvements in the manufacturing process.
Provide solutions and training of high-level diagnostic issues to the diagnostic technicians.
Update and generate documentation as required.
Responsible for all aspects of the test including selection and maintenance of test equipment and test procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ year’s experience in the field of in-circuit testing and yield improvement of switch and/ or server hardware.
