Responsibilities

Repair systems that consist of x86 motherboards, add-on cards, backplane replacement, hard drive replacement, and other components related to servers.
Provide assistance to Systems Engineers to help diagnose, troubleshoot, test, and repair servers from Production
Troubleshooting/testing/repairing servers returning from the field
Work with other departments continuously to improve work flow and processes.

Requirements

1+ years of Server repair and testing
Hands-on technical fundamentals of x86 server architectures including memory, storage, and network.
Understanding of the server data transfer such as PCI-e, USB, SATA, SAS.
Linux and Windows user experience
Excellent communication skills with the ability to be professionally presentable to the customer.

Preferred Skills

Basic Windows and Linux. Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Physical Requirements

Able to carry, push/pull servers in excess of 25 pounds.
