Job Description

Perform related functions in delivering a product that is tested with maximum test coverage at optimum efficiency for manufacturing. Involve in all test development works from prototype phases till final mass production; support manufacturing line for daily maintenance and test improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and enhancing testing strategies, flow and procedures for optimum manufacturability
  • Maintain designed test systems during NPI phases and in production
  • Work closely with R&D to design and implement test concept and methodology through software and hardware integration
  • Prepare and update test software/hardware documentation for knowledge handover and information exchange
  • Support the manufacturing line to achieve prototype as well as production objectives and targets
  • Increase line efficiency and improve product yield through processes
 

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science/Mechatronics, with 3 -5 years experiences in test development environment
  • Good knowledge/experience working with Microsoft or Linux/LINUX-based operating systems(s); exposure to any of the following are an added plus: TCL, VEE, Python, Microsoft Visual Basic.net, Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft J++, Labview 8.5 or Labwindows/CVI
  • Knowledge in deriving information from product schematics to develop test system is a must
  • Knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of communication protocols
  • Strong oral and written communication, and preparation of presentation slides/materials
  • Well versed with standard manufacturing processes documentations
  • Possess high level of integrity, initiative and sense of urgency
  • Excellent attitude in learning new technologies
