Requirements

• Have 5-7 years of experience in cable harness
• Must build harness boards on their own
• Must be familiar with automobile cable harness
• Have basic computer skills
• Assemble cables per requirements (Bill of materials, wire diagrams, specifications)
• Cut, trip, crimp, and tin wires (automated as well as manual)
• Inserting contacts into connectors
• Experience with tie wraps, flat ribbon cable assembly, shrink tubing, and soldering
• Installing back shells and applying labels on wires/cables
• Perform inspection, testing, and pull test on cable wires & devices
• Familiarity with the production environment and quality requirements, as per IPC/WHMA-A-620
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
